  • You’ll have the license to print the yoga anatomy training manual as many times as you like over the course of your trainings as well as the license to submit it as your ‘Anatomy & Physiology’ training material when applying to Yoga Alliance for program approval.

  • A full hour by hour breakdown of the suggested course structure that can be directly plugged into your Yoga Alliance application when applying to have your school/program accredited as a 200 or 300 Hour Training program under the elevated Yoga Alliance standards. The breakdown includes manual reference pages and exceeds the elevated Yoga Alliance standards.

*The training manual assumes the lead instructor teaching with it already has a strong understanding of yoga anatomy. This is not intended to be a training course for the teacher, but a teaching resource for the teacher and students. We highly recommend Yoga Medicine if you are a teacher or studio looking for yoga anatomy courses to prepare you to lead a training.

ABOUT SHAELYN

Hi! I’m Shaelyn! I’ve been teaching yoga for nearly fifteen years. I’m passionate about using the understanding of anatomy within yoga to empower students to feel more at ease in their bodies. Many of my teaching and training hours have been in the study of anatomy as it relates to the practice of yoga. In 2018, I started traveling to yoga studios to lead Yoga Anatomy & Physiology modules in 200 and 300 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings.

One of the first things I realized in leading anatomy trainings was that the supporting anatomy textbooks yoga teacher trainings were requiring were just too dense and offered lead teachers no organized curriculum to follow. As a teacher, I was searching for a yoga anatomy manual that followed the flow of my sessions, and I could feel that my students craved a visual reference that wasn’t just a poorly crafted PowerPoint that left them frantically taking notes.

In an effort to ditch the heavy required reading and make my life easier, I created my own Yoga Anatomy training manual. For the last five years, I’ve licensed my teacher training anatomy manual through my small yoga business, Santosha Creative, to countless yoga studios and programs so they could overcome the same obstacles I bumped into. I’ve also used the manual and curriculum to help many teacher training programs become approved by Yoga Alliance’s elevated training standards and up level the yoga anatomy offerings to their students. I’m so grateful for all of the studios and teachers who have used my yoga training manual and helped me improve upon it each year. If you have any questions, or would like to be one of them, please reach out to me directly HERE :).

You can also join one of the Yoga Alliance approved 200 or 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training programs I lead in Tucson, AZ at Yoga Pod Tucson.

  • 'I have been using the Yoga Teacher Training Anatomy & Physiology manual for every yoga teacher training group I have led over the past six years, and I could not imagine what my training and program would be without such a high quality anatomy manual! The layout and content is easy to follow, and the design is beautiful with images that are very visually appealing. Using this manual has diminished the extra work to submit the anatomy portion of my YTT syllabus to Yoga Alliance, ensuring it aligns with the proper guidelines...which I am forever grateful for! I highly recommend using this manual for any 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher training!'
